Answer: D - Acute myeloid leukemia with RUNX1::RUNX1T1

The patient has acute myeloid leukemia with RUNX1::RUNX1T1 fusion. The bone marrow aspirate smears show increased blasts with single slender Auer rods and maturing granulocytes with salmon colored cytoplasmic granules. The bone marrow core biopsy shows increased immature mononuclear cells. The reported flow cytometry immunophenotype is also characteristic for this entity with myeloid blasts showing aberrant co-expression of CD19.
