A 35-year-old woman undergoes goes a Whipple procedure for a pancreatic head mass. Grossly there is a 7.5 x 3.0 x 3.0 cm solid and cystic tumor replacing nearly the entire pancreatic parenchyma, centered in the pancreatic head. Within the cystic areas, there is a distinct 1.4 x 1.2 x 3.1 cm solid portion. H&E photomicrographs and immunostains are shown.
