A 70-year-old man underwent radical nephrectomy for a 4.2 cm left renal mass. It is a well-delineated tan-brown tumor involving the cortex and medulla. H&E sections are shown, as well as an immunostain for Cathepsin K. Tumor cells are negative for CK7 and PAX-8 (not shown).
